In recent years, China has issued a series of documents and measures aimed at promoting the development of intelligent manufacturing, creating a favorable policy environment for the development of intelligent manufacturing and the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. At present, this set of policy system is continuing to release policy dividends, a large number of enterprises began to actively embrace intelligent manufacturing, China's manufacturing industry to the high-end trend is increasingly obvious. With the implementation of various follow-up targeted measures, China's intelligent manufacturing level is expected to continue to improve, the manufacturing strategy and manufacturing transformation and upgrading of the big goal will be steadily promoted.

   Up to now, China has successively issued the "made in China 2025", "actively promoting the" Internet plus "action guidelines," "guidelines on deepening the integrated development of the manufacturing industry and the Internet", and formed a strategic policy system of manufacturing power. The above three policies all make detailed plans for the future development of intelligent manufacturing in China.

Miit ministries have also developed the intelligent manufacturing development plan (2016-2020) ", "intelligent manufacturing engineering implementation guide (2016-2020), the robot industry development planning (2016-2020), the equipment manufacturing industry standardization and quality improvement planning", "innovation and development of intelligent hardware industry initiative (2016-2018)", "industrial green development plan (2016-2020)" and so on many segmentation policies, and in 2016, an intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration work, In 2017, we will launch a national demonstration zone for made in China 2025.

On the basis of the favorable policy and industrial environment, China has further developed a lot of mature experience by carrying out pilot demonstrations and promoting key projects, and made breakthroughs in major areas and projects such as large aircraft, rail transit, 5G and the next generation Internet. It is widely believed in the industry that C919 and 5G commercial networks will represent a large number of key projects in the next five to 10 years. At that time, China's manufacturing level and international competitiveness in these fields will be expected to enter the world class, and related industries will also usher in a round of industrial opportunities.

Besides large aircraft and other above-mentioned fields, China is also cultivating a large number of key projects, which will also contribute a lot to the overall transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry in the future. According to the ministry of industry and information technology, in 2016 and 2017, China launched two pilot demonstration programs for smart manufacturing, selecting more than 150 key projects to tackle key problems. These pilot demonstration projects cover a wide range of manufacturing sectors, including not only petrochemical, steel, nonferrous metals, aviation, automotive, pharmaceutical and other traditional manufacturing industries, but also aerospace, aviation, high-end equipment manufacturing, robotics, additive manufacturing, new energy and other strategic emerging industries that China is actively developing.

At present, the achievements of many key projects have begun to promote the related industries. Take industrial robots as an example. Currently, China has become the largest industrial robot market in the world, and has formed five robot industry clusters in beijing-tianjin-hebei region, northeast China, Yangtze river delta, pearl river delta and central China. According to the international federation of robotics, China will play a leading role in the global industrial robot field in the future, with sales of 160,000 robots, accounting for 40 percent of global sales, by 2019.
